FAQ

Types of Markets

A single bet involves placing a wager on one outcome in a match. For example, betting on England to win against Germany requires only that single outcome to be correct for you to win the bet. This type of bet is popular, especially among beginners, as it is simple to understand and involves lower risk compared to multiple bets.

Multiple bets, also known as accumulators, involve combining two or more selections into a single bet. For the bet to succeed, all individual selections must win, which makes it riskier than a single bet but also potentially more rewarding. The odds for each selection are multiplied, resulting in a higher payout if all predictions are correct.

Here are some common types of multiple bets:

Doubles: Two selections.

Trebles: Three selections.

Accumulators: Four or more selections.

Any number of selections can be combined, provided each leg is independent of the others.

Outright betting involves placing wagers on the overall outcomes of a league or tournament rather than individual matches. Common outright bets include predicting the winner of a league (e.g., Premier League Championship), top goal scorer or which teams will be relegated. These bets are typically long-term and can offer higher odds due to their higher uncertainty.

In the First Goal Scorer market, bettors predict which player will score the first goal in a match.

The Over/Under market allows bettors to wager on whether the total number of goals scored in a match will be over or under a predetermined threshold, commonly set at 1.5, 2.5, or 3.5 goals. Bettors aren’t required to predict the exact score – only whether the combined goals of both teams will exceed or fall short of the specified line set by bookmakers.

In the Both Teams to Score (BTTS) market, bettors predict whether both teams in a match will score at least one goal. This market offers two options:

Yes: Both teams score at least one goal.

No: At least one team fails to score.

BTTS bets can be combined with other bets, such as match winners or Over/Under, to create higher potential payouts through multiple or accumulator bets.

First Half Result: Bettors predict the outcome at halftime, choosing between a home win, away win, or a draw.

Second Half Result: Similar to the first half but focuses on predicting the outcome after the second half.

This market allows bettors to cover two of the three possible outcomes in a match. You can bet on:

Home win or draw

Away win or draw

Either team to win

In this market, bettors predict the exact final score of the match. This can include predictions for the full-time correct score, as well as the correct score for the first half or the second half.

In this market, bettors predict which half of the match will have the most goals scored.

In this market, bettors select a team to win. If the match ends in a draw, the stake is refunded.

In this market, bettors predict the exact number of goals by which a team will win. Common options include “one goal,” “two goals,” and so on, allowing for precise predictions based on expected match dynamics.

What are related bets

Related bets occur when combining two or more markets into an accumulative bet where the outcome of one market wholly or partially impacts the outcome of another. For example, a bet on “Man Utd to win 2-0” combined with “Man Utd to win the match” creates a related bet, as one outcome influences the other.

Accumulative bets involving related bets, also known as related contingencies, within the same event, are not accepted.

If a related bet is accepted in error—combining two or more bets where one outcome affects another—the stakes will be divided equally into separate bets for each clash.

When related bet parts resolve at different times, unless special prices or accumulative odds are available, bets are settled sequentially, with the odds for subsequent stages determined individually.
